About Us
Mission Statement
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada's mission is to enable all youth to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring individuals.

Club Information
The Boys & Girls Club is open all year for our members, including most school holidays, vacations, and track breaks. However, if the Carson City School District closes the schools due to bad weather and/or the Govenor of Nevada has determined that all state offices to close early, then the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada will also be closed. Parents then must pick up their children immediately. It is our goal to be open when youth need us most.

Club Rules for Members
The following are Boys & Girls Clubs rules that are enforced to ensure values, principles, health and safety of the members, volunteers and staff.
  • It is mandatory that Club members scan their membership cards daily when they arrive and when they leave.
  • Members are to be courteous to staff and other members alike. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
  • Gambling/trading is not allowed at the Boys & Girls Clubs.
  • Foul language or name calling and labeling of members will not be accepted. Any member caught doing these things will be suspended from the Club.
  • Physical contact between staff and/or members is not allowed.
  • Tackle football is not allowed. Only flag football, or one hand touch above the waist, will be played. All flag or touch football games will be played on the grass only.
  • Members are to keep their shoes on at all times. This is to ensure safety and to prevent loss.
  • Members are not allowed to wait in front of the Club unsupervised. If you are picking up your child, he or she must stay in the Club. This is for the safety of your child.
  • Staff are not permitted to “watch over” members personal items. Any personal property brought to the Club is the responsibility of those who bring it. Band instruments may be stored behind the counter, but Club staff will not be responsible to watch over them.
  • Phone calls are limited to emergency use only.
  • Snacks must be eaten outside unless weather does not permit. Special tables will be set up in the Games room when weather is bad.
  • No riding of bicycles, skateboards, scooters or roller blades is allowed on Club grounds. Bicycles and scooters need to be locked on the bike rack behind the Club.
  • Members are expected to help keep the Club clean by cleaning up after themselves.
  • Members are to walk through the buildings. Running, bouncing balls and horse playing are not allowed inside the building.
