Hours of Operation

The school year hours are from the time school releases until 6:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. We ask that you please be sure to adhere to these hours as we do not provide supervision outside of Club hours. Summer hours are 7:00-6:30pm Monday - Friday.

Who can join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada?

Any child between the ages of 7 and 18 can become a member of the Club.

How much does it cost to become a member?

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada is a very inexpensive program for families. The cost for membership is just $20 a year. This covers annual membership and activities provided at the Club (some additional fees may be required for field trips, sports leagues, or camps).

Scholarships are available to families needing assistance. The Application process is easy, simply fill out the membership packet completely and submit 30 days of paystubs for each working parent/guardian.

No child is ever turned away for inability to pay for membership fees!! If your income level qualifies for additional free services at the Club, you will be notified.

Mandatory Parent Orientation Meetings are held to help us better serve your child's needs. A parent/guardian will be required to attend one-30 minute orientation meeting per membership year, June 1st to May 31st. This applies to new members as well as renewals. Club membership will only be awarded after the required orientation meeting and a complete membership application is provided.

Does the child have to be a Carson City resident?

No!! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada is open to all children ages 7-18.

Is transportation provided for members?

Thanks to a wonderful relationship,during the school year the Carson City School District is currently busing Boys & Girls Club members from all Carson City Elementary Schools and Eagle Valley Middle School. The Boys & Girls Club shuttles members from The High School. Parents, please be sure to complete the permission forms prior to riding the shuttle.
